Apple Picking!

This past Saturday was a blast apple picking at County Line Orchard in Hobart Indiana with family!  The cousins enjoyed spending time together.  It was such a beautiful day!  To my surprise this orchard also grew sunflowers.  I had fun taking pictures of them and, of course, my husband had to take a picture of me with them!  See for yourself:

FIRST ANNUAL COME SCRAP/CRAFT WITH ME!

This past weekend (August 25-28) was Crafty Days and Nights First Annual Come Scrap/Craft With Me!  It was your chance to come scrap/craft with the owner of Crafty Days and Nights, Kathy.

This was a discounted weekend.  All breakfast meals, snacks, drinks, and gifts were provided by Kathy.  The 6 guests that attended, decided to put two people on the other meals, which meant each person only had to prepare, cook and pay for half of one meal the entire weekend.  All the meals were great and yummy!

I  think this past weekend was a success!  The 6 guests made sure I stayed glued to my seat in the scrapbook room (even though that was hard for me to do).  I didn't even touch the hand vac once -- ha! ha!  If you've been to a Crafty Days and Nights weekend hosted by me you'd understand what the reference to the hand vac is all about.  I personally had not scrapbooked in such a long time.  It was a great time scrapping!  Thanks for all the laughs!
